NCIS Los Angeles review: “Unleashed”

Here’s my review of NCIS Los Angeles season eight season finale “Unleashed.” Please note that this isn’t a recap of what happens. I’m assuming that you’ve already seen the episode. There are spoilers in this review.

Another season has come to a close and I think it went out on a good note. The crew delivered an interesting, exciting, and emotional episode in “Unleashed.” We received an hour of excellent character development and thrilling action. (Even some humor surprisingly) “Unleashed” works as a great close to a very decent season.

Here’s my review of NCIS Los Angeles season eight episode “Uncaged.” Please note that this isn’t a recap of what happens. I’m assuming that you’ve already seen the episode. There are spoilers in this review.

I’ve struggled since Sunday to decide what to write for this episode’s review. “Uncaged” was a tough one to watch, particularly with that emotional ending. Because the ending was so jarring, it’s hard to figure out what to say about this one. There are things I disliked but also parts I did think worked out well.

Here’s my review of NCIS Los Angeles season eight episode “Golden Days.” Please note that this isn’t a recap of what happens. I’m assuming that you’ve already seen the episode. There are spoilers in this review.

Okay, I’m used to NCISLA being a bit unrealistic on occasion. That’s the nature of television. Things are going to be exaggerated sometimes for the sake of making a point. But for me, “Golden Days” felt like a mess of a plot, something that spiraled out of control. And everything was so over the top that it wasn’t even enjoyable to watch.
