Here’s my review of Elementary season four episode “The Cost of Doing Business.” Please note that this isn’t a recap of what happens. I’m assuming that you’ve already seen the episode. There are spoilers in this review.

The father/son relationship between the Holmes men was back in the spotlight in “The Cost of Doing Business.” It’s been a recurring theme this season (with John Noble as a regular cast member now) but it has fallen a bit to the wayside in the past couple episodes. This is okay since we need time to focus on other things as well, but the downside is that there feels like there are gaps in the storyline. This episode did a good job of filling in some holes and developing their strange relationship some more.

Here’s my review of NCIS Los Angeles season seven episode “Cancel Christmas.” Please note that this isn’t a recap of what happens. I’m assuming that you’ve already seen the episode. There are spoilers in this review.

Holiday episodes are usually a whole lot of fun, and personally, I don’t think I’ve laughed so much during an NCISLA episode in a long time. I enjoyed the light-hearted fun of “Cancel Christmas” after the previous episodes with a more weightier subject matter this weekend. This was one of those episodes where the b-story, the character’s stories, is more important than the case. And that’s perfectly fine.

Here’s my review of Elementary season four episode “The Games Underfoot.” Please note that this isn’t a recap of what happens. I’m assuming that you’ve already seen the episode. There are spoilers in this review.

This is one of those Elementary episodes that just comes together nicely and works very well. The case has its interesting quirks which makes it entertaining to watch, and the b-story is focused on Sherlock and Alfredo’s friendship. “The Games Underfoot” is a solid episode because both the a-story and the b-story are strong narratives.

NCIS Los Angeles Review: “Internal Affairs”

Here’s my review of NCIS Los Angeles season seven episode “Internal Affairs.” Please note that this isn’t a recap of what happens. I’m assuming that you’ve already seen the episode. There are spoilers in this review.

It’s always nice when a story comes to its resolution. The internal affairs investigation into Deeks has been building since it was first introduced near the end of season 6. It was always a story in the background with just a few mentions here and there along the way, but as we come to the end of the investigation, the story comes into full focus. “Internal Affairs” culminates as a great team-centered episode that wraps up everything nicely.

Itadaki High Jump Photo Recap: “December 2nd, 2015”

Japanese Variety Show Photo Recap Disclaimer: Since this is a recap of the show, there will be spoilers here. I’m watching this without English subtitles and while I understand a lot of Japanese, I’m not fluent. There are occasionally parts where I don’t understand what’s going on. And lastly, the photo captions are just snarky jokes and not meant to convey actual dialogue. So if you’re cool with all this, read on and enjoy!

So I thought it might be fun to put together a recap of an episode of Hey!Say!JUMP‘s variety show Itadaki High Jump. I won’t be able to do this regularly, but Itadaki is such a fun show, I thought I’d share at least one episode recap. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, the group basically gets a “case” to investigate or a challenge to try. Usually, it’s just one per episode. But for this episode (which is a continuation of last week’s episode), the whole group is trying out several small cases submitted by fans. This episode’s cases include fun with marshmallows, some singing, a good SHOCK, something smelly, and makeup. Let’s talk about it~!
